What was your favorite road trip and why? |
My favorite road trip ever was when I was 19 years old. My friends and I had just gotten our driver's licenses and we were cruising along Norwegian fjords in an old diesel Mercedes. We were smuggling each other in the trunk to save on ferry tickets, sleeping in grassy fields and we're living our best life with very little money. The goal of the trip was to go surfing on Norway's westernmost beach, and it ended up being a fantastic trip and one of my best memories of all time. |
What are your top 3 songs you must have on your road trip playlist? |
Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone |
Who would you choose as your road trip co-pilot, alive or dead, to join you on the ultimate road trip and why? |
Paul Walker. I never met him, but he came out to some of the Formula Drift races and was a genuine car fan. |
What is your favorite vehicle/bike you have owned or built? |
Our Toyota Supra MK4 rat rod "Talespin". |
What is the one vehicle/bike you wish you owned? Or what was one you owned and foolishly sold it? |
A black BMW 1992 E30 M3 Sport Evolution. Legendary DTM derived car that I think will forever be the coolest sports car - in my eyes. |
What fueled your passion and got you into this industry? |
I love how the cars you build and compete in can truly show your identity. It's a form of expressing yourself. I think that idea is why I've really found my home in the auto enthusiast community! |
Do you have anything coming up between now & SEMA that you would like us to feature? |
We are competing across the world - in Europe, in the States, and in Asia. You're always welcome to feature our comps. OR - be there when we hopefully finally charge & fire up Talespin the rat rod for the first time! |
Tell us about your experience with CTEK product(s). |
In a world where reputation is everything - CTEK is doing it right. Their products just work, you plug it in and you forget it! It's the highest quality charger on the market, and at the same time, it's the easiest one to use. In a hectic racing environment, CTEK is a lifesaver for us, and for our batteries. |
Thank you to Fredric and his crew at Fredric Aasbø Racing. Remember to submit your vehicle to be a winner in the Road to SEMA Sweepstakes.
