CTEK Opens New Research Facility in Sweden
CTEK recently opened a dedicated Electrical Vehicle (EV) Center of Excellence in Sweden.
Located in Norrköping, just 100 miles from the Swedish capital of Stockholm, the new facility is home to research and development labs, testing facilities and an education center.
The facility also is home to CTEK’s Quality, Sales & Marketing, and Customer Support Teams.
Based in Sweden, CTEK is a leading global brand in the care and maintenance of vehicle batteries.
CTEK sells more than 1 million battery chargers each year. The company regularly tops independent battery charger competitive tests.
CTEK’s unparalleled knowledge and continuous investment in innovation mean they push the boundaries of research and development to bring new and unique battery charging technologies to the market.
The new state-of-the-art research facility is designed for innovation and development of products, processes, and services benefiting electric vehicles.
The facility has a dedicated EV training suite where the CTEK training team can deliver classroom-based and more practical hands-on training sessions for both CTEK staff and its distribution partners.
"Knowledge about CTEK products and their applications is key," said CTEK Chief Executive Jon Lind. "We have a firm commitment to our distribution partners and see partner training and support as a key driver of our collective success."
He added, “We are very proud of the fact that all of our products have been designed, developed and tested in Sweden and so having all of our teams under one roof, in state-of-the-art facilities plays a critical role in our innovation process."
“By investing in technology and future capabilities we can continue to evolve our offer through new products, processes, and services and continue to be the leading global brand in battery and power management solutions,” he added.
